Learn ways to support your student as they are job/internship searching, creating their resumes, and what resources are available here at IUPUI for your Jaguar. The format for this session will be presentation style with Q&A.

Thursday, March 24 | Let's Talk Academics - Supporting Your Jaguar
Learn ways to support your student as they navigate college and balance their classes, exams, and projects. The format for this session will be presentation style with Q&A.
Presenters will include:

- Andrea Engler, Senior Executive Director, Student Transition & Support
Thursday, April 14 | First-Generation Families - PROGRAM CANCELLED
This session is specifically geared towards families with an interest in first-generation student success. First-Generation (also known as, First-Gen) is defined as the first in the family to attend college or your parents didn't graduate with a bachelor's degree. IUPUI is truly committed to first-generation student success and are recognized as a First-Gen Forward Institution by the Center for First-Generation Student Success, an initiative of NASPA – Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education and The Suder Foundation.
Our panelists will discuss tools, resources, and programs available to first-generation students. Being a first-generation student is something to celebrate and we want to encourage parents, families, and supporters of first-generation students as well. The format for this session will be presentation style leaving time for question and answer.

- Student and Family Connections
- Upward Bound
Family Chats are a great way for you, as a family member to receive information on a variety of topics chosen your fellow Jaguar families. Each semester, we will host monthly Family Chat sessions based on topics that our families want to learn more about. Registration is required for each session. Recordings of sessions can be found in our Kaltura Channel.
Sessions are designed to support and answer questions of our parents, families, and supporters of students.
